No News is Good News?
Well, it's been forever since I've updated... Or done anything, frankly. The new boyfriend has been manipulating all of my time, and I've been happy to provide it. Somehow he seems to be convincing me I'd enjoy being a housewife, and so far it's not as scary as my ultra-feminist friends and family would have had me believe... But perhaps that's because I don't feel I will lose the love and respect of my man or my community if I don't keep the house spotless ;)
In all honesty, things have been pretty bad - still no work, though I haven't been looking nearly as much as I should - and only a handful of shoots (to be posted soon). Our place was robbed a few weeks ago (luckily they missed my camera gear!) but as a result the leaseholder decided to move out, kicking myself and the new roommate out in the process.
Despite spending so much of my time playing house with the new boytoy, I'm still the same commitment-phobe, so rather than move in with him, I am heading off to Blue Magic Studios and bunking down in the Red Room for a few weeks while I figure things out. Big thanks to Vala of BM for taking me in!
So ... That's the word from Lila's world. No money, no work, nothing interesting, lots of love, and a big move this week to the room across the hall from where I like to shoot :P Could be worse!

I'm sorry to hear that, sweetie! I didn't know that was the reason you were moving. Don't worry, I'm having the housewife panic attack too. I think we can both find a balance. After all, we've both got great, understanding men. If you need to call and talk, please do.
Yes, I didn't tell many people about the robbery. It was a total gongshow, the cops took hours to come, my roommate went apeshit (fair enough!). I was so glad Yves was with me that night and I could take my valuables with me to his place, otherwise I would have lost it myself :(
Worked out for the best though, I hated that place and spend very little time there now, anyways.
